Benefits

Why use it

See start-line misses

The gate gives immediate visual feedback when the ball starts left or right of your intended line.

Build a repeatable checkpoint

Set the opening on your target line and repeat the same start-direction task from putt to putt.

Progress the challenge

Start with one gate, then increase distance or add another gate as start-line control improves.

Setup

How to set it up

  1. 01

    Build the gate

Attach each gate to its removable bases.

  2. 02

    Choose a flat surface

Place the gate on a stable indoor putting surface or putting green.

  3. 03

    Set the start line

Position one gate a short distance in front of the ball and aim the opening along your intended start line.

  4. 04

    Roll through the opening

Hit short putts through the gate without contacting either side.

  5. 05

    Increase the challenge

Move the gate farther away or add another gate as your start-line control improves.
